Turbo Browser
User Agreement
Effective November 2, 2026
These terms apply when you use Turbo Browser. Please read them, especially the section on downloads and content, which explains what you are responsible for.
In short
- Use the app lawfully, and only download and share content you have the right to.
- We don't host or control any content. You decide what to download and are responsible for it.
- The app is free and provided as is, without warranties.
- Web pages are shown by Mozilla GeckoView and downloads run on aria2, each under its own open-source license.
1Agreeing to these terms
This User Agreement (the "agreement") is between you and the developer of Turbo Browser ("we", "us"). It applies to the Turbo Browser app for Android (the "app").
By installing or using the app, you agree to this agreement and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
2What the app does
The app is a free web browser with a built-in download manager. It includes:
- Web browsing with tabs, private tabs, bookmarks, history, saved passwords, page translation, and tracking protection.
- Detection of videos and other media that a web page loads, so you can download them.
- Multi-connection HTTP, HTTPS, and FTP downloads, and BitTorrent downloads from torrent files and magnet links.
- A media player, a file manager for your downloads, and weather and news on the home page.
The download engine is based on the open-source tool aria2, and web pages are displayed by Mozilla GeckoView. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
3Who can use the app
You must be old enough to agree to these terms in your country, or have permission from a parent or guardian. The app is not intended for children under 13.
4Using the app responsibly
You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes. In particular, you agree not to:
- Download, share, or distribute content you don't have the right to, or otherwise infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights.
- Circumvent DRM or other technical protection measures. The app doesn't download DRM-protected media, and we won't help you get around such protection.
- Break the terms of the websites and services you use through the app, where those terms are lawful and apply to you.
- Use the app to spread malware, send spam, overload or attack websites or networks, or gain unauthorized access to systems.
- Copy, modify, or reverse engineer the app, except as allowed by law or by the open-source licenses of its components.
5Downloads and content
You are responsible for what you download. The app is a tool. We don't host, provide, review, or control any of the content you can find or download with it.
- Media detection only finds files that a web page loads in your browser. It doesn't give you access to anything the website doesn't already send to you.
- Before downloading, make sure you have the right to do so and that the content is legal where you live.
- While downloading or seeding a torrent, BitTorrent also uploads parts of it to other people. Only share content you have the right to share.
- Files from the internet can contain malware. Only open files from sources you trust.
We aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, legality, or safety of any file you download, or for any legal consequences of downloading it.
6Websites and third-party services
The app lets you visit websites and uses services run by others, including search engines, Open-Meteo for weather and air quality, news providers, Google Play services, and Google Firebase. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them, and we aren't responsible for their content or availability.
Weather, air quality, and news are provided for general information only. Don't rely on them for safety-critical decisions. Page translations are generated by a machine and may contain mistakes.
Tracking protection blocks known trackers and may occasionally stop part of a website from working. You can turn it off for a single site from the icon in the address bar.
7Your data and device security
Your history, bookmarks, passwords, and downloads are stored on your device. Keep your device protected with a screen lock and make your own backups of files that matter to you. Our Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and which services it connects to.
8Open-source software
The app includes open-source software, which is licensed to you under its own license. Nothing in this agreement limits the rights those licenses give you. Main components include:
- Mozilla GeckoView and Mozilla Android Components — Mozilla Public License 2.0
- aria2 — GNU General Public License, version 2 or later
- Other libraries under the Apache License 2.0, the MIT License, and similar licenses
9Intellectual property
The app's name, logo, design, and original content belong to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, subject to this agreement. We keep all rights we don't expressly grant.
10No warranty
The app is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every website, or that downloads will always succeed.
11Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the app or of content you download with it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app won't exceed the amount you paid us for the app, if any.
Some countries don't allow these limitations. Where that's the case, they apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing in this agreement affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
12Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate us for claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your breach of this agreement, your infringement of the rights of others, or content you download or share using the app.
13Ending this agreement
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your right to use the app if you seriously breach this agreement, and we may stop offering the app. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those on content, warranties, liability, and indemnity, remain in effect afterwards.
14Changes to this agreement
We may update this agreement as the app changes. When we do, we'll revise the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the app after an update, the new terms apply. If you don't agree with them, please stop using the app.
15Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the place where the developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. If any part of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.

If you have questions about this agreement, email us at the developer address shown on the app's Google Play page.
